In the Jonas Brothers ‘Lines Vines and Trying Times’ album, there was a coupon for the Jonas Brothers 3-D movie. It had a website on it so you can get $10 off the DVD. Does anyone know what that site is?

Backstage Broker - New Event Ticket Comparison Website
The Truth
I recently was searching for concert tickets and came across anew website targeted for ticket seekers http://www.BackstageBroker.com
I’ve purchased tickets from secondary market ticket brokers in the past and got burned. The main reason being I didn’t research enough to see if there were better seats and certainly better pricing. You really don’t know who you are buying tickets from when you troll through the larger “brand name sources” for tickets. I not only want to be able to feel confident I’m getting tickets at the price I’m willing to pay, I would like the chance to speak with a human (there’s a concept) if I have questions about my purchase, and know who exactly I’m purchasing from.
Enter Backstage Broker:
I counted 12 brokers listed by category - concerts, sports and theater. I ended up buying tickets for my 14 year old who was nagging me for Jonas Brothers tickets. Seems these “Disney pop bands” are the hot ticket with more younger audiences now attending concerts. The demand is higher, along with the rising ticket prices. It only makes sense to have a resource to search and compare pricing, inventory and background of the broker I’m shelling out big bucks for tickets.
The site allows you to compare tickets from multiple brokers easily. With all the clutter of where to search for a good deal on event tickets after TicketMaster sells out, it’s nice to find a site that gives options. It was worth shopping around the site. Each broker opens a new window so I can compare with other brokers all from one page - one site. Simple concept, yes, but it works! I recommend checking it out if you’re looking to find more than one source for concert, sports or theater tickets.

Using Google Alerts To Increase Website Traffic
The Truth
Not too many people know the advantages of using Google alerts to increase website traffic. I have been using it for a few months now, and I totally love it. It helps me find relevant blogs, websites, or even Groups for keywords that I set up in my alerts, and Google sends me these results directly to my email every day.
For those who don’t know what Google Alerts is, and how you can use them to increase website traffic to your websites or blogs, let me explain to you quickly what it is, and what it can do for you and your SEO.
Google Alerts is a notification / Alert system that Google has set up so you can receive email alerts from Google when ever Google finds specific website pages that you define in your Alert. What these alerts contain are specific keyword terms that you want to keep up on events for.
For example, with the Winter Olympics taking place starting Feb. 11 2010, you can set up an Alert for the keyword term ”Winter Olympics” in Quotes, and whenever Google finds that exact keyword term on websites that it crawls, you will receive an email alert about it. Pretty easy to understand, and a very powerful SEO tool that you could use to increase your website traffic and search engine ranking by building super targeted back links.
There are 6 different types of alerts that you can set up:
Each type of Alert is pretty self explanatory but, you can read the Google Alerts Help page for more information about using the Google Alert system.
Now, to increase your website traffic and build targeted back links to help you rank better in the search engines, setup a Google Alert for your main keywords that you want to rank for, and use the types Blogs and Groups. When Google finds your keywords on these types of websites, you will receive an email with a link to the page your keyword was found on.
The reason you want these two is simple. You can post comments on Blog and Groups. See where I am going with this, and do you understand how to increase website traffic using this powerful Google Alerts Feature?
We all know that in order to rank better and to increase website traffic from the search engines, we need relevant back links, and this is the best way to find them with little to no work.
I think that the Google Alerts is one of the best ways to increase website traffic and build yourself some powerful back links pointing back to your website.
Go setup your Google alert, start building your back links today. -

Importance of Having Videos on Your Website
The Truth
There are many new techniques people using to promote and increase the sales of their website. Videos are considered as one of the best methods for communicating with audiences. A fact that all of us know is that itâs much easier to consume the visual image than to read something. The visual impact created by videos can often be creatively used to reach out and capture the imagination of a wide audience.
4 Reasons Why Video is the Good Option:
1. Watching existing clients endorsing your product gives a much stronger message than seeing an endorsement in print.
2. Things that donât yet exist can be brought to life, whether this is a product or a new initiative.
3. A new practice can be illustrated by âseeing it happenâ, and so can become more credible.
4. Videoâs use of real people, animation and music are valuable when motivation is a key ingredient in your message.Video is best for the communication of a simple, convincing message. We can feel an emotional connection more readily with videoâs moving images and sound than other communication mediums â to an audience it is the closest medium to reality.
Streaming videos over web pages has caught on with an increase in the available bandwidth and connection speeds in the last couple of years. Often a good video associated with a good product could double or even triple the âsale abilityâ of the product. Take for example, the fashion industry, often endorsed by the big names from television and the silver screen. The visual impact associated with Naomi Campbell walking down a ramp wearing the latest spring design is much greater than a two dimensional photograph which often lacks the dynamism of a video.
Due to its nature, video can be very versatile in the style and tone used to convey different messages. The video itself can be powerful, with iconic images cut to compelling music, to set the tone of an event or product, or it can adopt a contemporary documentary style to provide account of a practice or initiative.
The impact created by the video not only depends on the quality of the created video, but the final quality of output that reaches the viewing audience through streaming off web pages. A good video backed up by a poor video player is often a let down and fails to create the impact that it would have managed had the support player been capable of producing good quality, yet fast and efficient streaming of online videos. A good video, bundled with the right support material will definitely prove to be one of the most effective ways of reaching out to a worldwide audience 24Ã7.

Create A Non Published Emergency Family Website
The Truth
Ok so your home has been destroyed in a natural disaster! can you prove who you are? that you are married? or that you even owned a home?
These were some of the questions that many of the residents of New Orleans had to deal with when all of their personal possessions and private information were quickly destroyed as a result of Hurricane Katrina. When the levees broke and the homes were flooded many residents didn’t have time to gather up their personal possessions and information, they barely had enough time to escape with their lives.
When I was watching the reports of people having difficulty accessing information about their insurance, account numbers and policy declarations, and other persoanal identifiers, it became clear to me that people needed to store much of this information in a safe place away from the effected area. It needed to be a place that could be accessed at a time when it was most needed, such as after a natural disaster, that the idea hit me! Store that information on a personal inter-family use only (password protected) website. This website would have insurance policy numbers and account information as well as information about the individual family members, including photos and family mortgage information and bank account information.
It would be great to be able to go to a public library for example and use a public computer to access your own personal information including insurance policies and contact numbers, even have a bulletin board on the website that your family members could post to in the case of evacuation to let every family member know your location and your circumstance.
During a natural disaster, there is alot of confusion, and sometimes family members can get separated and wind up in different shelters. Having one place on the internet that each family member can access will be a great help to yourselves as well as the authorities that are trying to re-unite family members.
In my website, I chose a password that everyone in the family knows, I made sure that they knew the URL address of the family website and I included links to emergency services. Also, I scanned current insurance documents and posted them to the site as well so I could always prove the coverage that I had prior to the natural disaster.
It is a clear advantage if you teach your young children to memorize their social security numbers, home address, city, county and state and telephone numbers as well as the full names of their parents as soon as they are able to do so.
A website that can contain the features that I suggest here, is probably not free, but for 25.00 a month or so, its a valuable resource that can’t be understated. Make sure that any information that you post to the website is password protected making sure that your information always remains safe and ready for you to use.
An emergency website that includes insurance information, bank records, deeds or mortgage information, and a means for the family members to communicate is a valuable resource at a time of great need and can go along way to providing some comfort that comes from being prepared with your family information at a moments notice.

“is Website Real Estate” a Fad? Do People Really Make a Lot Flipping Sites?
The Truth
So, what’s all the buzz about website flipping…do people really make sizeable returns by taking a pokey, battered old website and reselling it?
The answer is yes they do – but as with everything in online biz that is worthwhile, it takes a level of technical skill, experience and a little business savvy to reach the pinnacles that the pro’s have. However, if you do manage it, the sky is the limit. We’re in the internet era just now – and websites are the houses, sparkling office skyscrapers and (sadly) shanty towns of the internet world. Internet real estate (as much as I dislike that term) is here to stay and will continue to create millionaires in the months, years and decades to come.
The Evolution Of The Internet – From The Dot Com Boom And Bust To Today’s Cool Tools For Site Creation
A decade or so ago, websites were perceived much like air travel in the fifties – they were really reserved for the rich and/or famous. In fact, prior to the dot com boom in the earlier years of this decade, investment banks and the clueless managers who ran them would almost back any old start-up company as long as it had a dot com presence. Even (or should I say especially) if the business model made no sense, was seemingly written by a child and had serious flaws.
During the dotcom boom (while I was wrapping up my banking career), I saw companies given the green light for investment that I’m quite sure no-one reading this would have backed – for example Pets.com who were given so much financial backing that they splurged on a multi-million dollar superbowl ad, bought an inflatable balloon slot for the Macy’s parade and squandered the rest of it’s money in all sorts of idiotic ways. A few months later, someone in management took off their dunce cap long enough to realise that actually, products like flea lotion and kitty litter have a pretty low mark-up and that because they took about 4 days to deliver goods, people would rather walk five minutes to their local pet shop to buy what they needed. The company promptly folded, after losing investors a boatload of cash.
Today, it’s a different story – the website industry is booming and the beautiful thing is that the internet has evolved so that the smarter but smaller guy and gal have a competitive advantage in having a website business over the big guns. While website/blog design still requires technical aptitude, we have more tools, software and resources to be able to put out good looking websites and blogs – one’s that can stand up proudly against anything that a Fortune 500 company can whip up.
Of course, an alternative to building sites to resell is flipping them – buying established sites at a low fee, doing them up, and then reselling them for a markup. In some ways it’s a lot like real estate investment. That’s what we’ll look at next…
So, What Sort Of Things Do You Need To Know About Before Flipping Websites?
The answer is, a lot. You would not enter the world of site flipping under-prepared any more than you would get into the real estate investment industry without a sound understanding of how it all works (unless possibly you’re pets.com). To get into website flipping, you’ll need to understand how the industry works. You need to set out a clear plan on how much you expect to yield through your site flipping efforts, and where to pick-up websites on the cheap (and where to resell them).
Make a start - learn about website flipping and what skills and knowledge you need to do it to earn a living. Then give it a go - you may be surprised at what you can achieve.
